DESCRIPTION

Hunzamabinski! is a modern interpretation of Grodziskie — a rare Polish beer style brewed from oak-smoked wheat and buckwheat malts, finished with peppery, fruity hops at 3.5% ABV. The beer was developed in collaboration with Grodziskie expert Adam Reynolds and brewmaster Bryan Selders, and sold exclusively at Dogfish Head's Milton, Delaware brewery.

I led the visual identity from concept through final production, working closely with the Dogfish Head creative team. The process began with exploratory concepting across multiple directions before converging on a single refined system. The final design draws from the rich tradition of Polish folk art — vibrant, graphic, and deeply patterned — and centers on a pair of screaming roosters. The roosters are the key: Hunzamabinski is a Polish exclamation, and the design wears that spirit loudly.
